And then there was HEAT ...

Yeesh! One minute NYC was normally temperate and it's like overnight suddenly ... BAM!!!! It's hot as hell and humid to boot! Friday (6/6) the temperature was still moderate and then saturday it was 93 degrees outside with 100% humidity! It was NOT a good look for me! LOL ... I was sweatin' and sticky and my dogs were dying in the heat (especially Scooter since he's got such thick fur!) and Ronny was whining b/c his little doggy paw pads were hot against the hot pavement (wonder why?). He's worse than a girl on PMS ... he whines at EVERYTHING!!!! Ok ... i'm gonna stop complaining about him ... Scooter didn't complain ONCE and he was in a much worse position than Ronny. Anyways, that's what I don't like about NYC ... one minute it's normal and the next, it's EXTREME!!!! Phew! This morning (sunday 6/8) was just as bad! My goodness! I stepped out and felt like the evil wicked witch of the west "I'm MELTING!!! I'm MELTING!!!" LOL ... seriously though ... but I had to go to work ... so I get to sit inside a nice A/C'd office ... but a part of me would rather be out there tanning and getting melanoma! LOL ... of course b/c today is sunday and I have to work the WHOLE day ... and I mean billing 8 full hours and I just got in at 11am ... means that I will have to be here until 7pm ... booo .... i'm gonna miss the ALL THE SUN!!!! A sista is trying to tan too! Maybe i'll leave in a bit here and go tanning out on the grass for a half hour or an hour ... ugh! I enjoy being tan ... but then i'm getting fat sitting in an office snacking too! I should be out there sweatin' off all of my water weight! The upcoming week it's supposed to be in the 80s and 90s too ... ugh ... all this work is killin' me! I think I'm gonna workout in the morning and tan during lunch! Yes! That's what I'm gonna do! I think i'll have to go scope out the pools around here ... a la Ritz Carlton! *^_~*
